Germany’s Parquet Recordings has built a solid reputation across the world with its intelligent-yet-accessible blend of lush deep house, groovy tech house, melodic techno and progressive elements. Founded by Normen Flaskamp – aka Solee the label has amassed over 100 releases in 10 years across its main and ltd imprints, as well as several albums and compilations and showing a real depth to its artist roster.
Launched in 1992 Madhouse Records Inc was a joint venture between US DJ and producer Kerri Chandler and Mel Medalie’s Champion Records. Mel met Kerri on a trip to the US whilst visiting Todd Terry at Idler’s Studio in Brooklyn (whose Royal House project was later released on Champion).
